Alien Full-Arch Zirconia Try-In

Test the Final Fit in a Rigid Material—Before Ordering the Final Restoration

PMMA and 3D-printed try-ins can flex. That flexibility may allow a prototype to seat properly even when the interfaces do not share an ideal path of insertion. Everything may appear to fit during the try-in, only for the final rigid zirconia restoration to rock or fail to seat completely.

The new Alien Full-Arch Zirconia Try-In addresses this problem by providing a rigid, one-to-one zirconia evaluation of your full-arch design before the definitive restoration is manufactured.

Evaluate What Matters Before Going Final

Produced from Alien HT Zirconia, the try-in allows you to evaluate:

Passive Fit

Verify complete seating and evaluate the restoration for rocking.

Occlusion

Evaluate the bite and identify any adjustments that may be required.

Phonetics

Review speech and phonetics before proceeding with the final restoration.

Tooth Position

Confirm the overall tooth position and full-arch design.

Important: Not Intended as a Final Restoration

The Alien Full-Arch Zirconia Try-In is manufactured specifically for evaluation and is not intended for final delivery or long-term clinical use.

To keep the try-in affordable while providing a fast turnaround:

An expedited milling strategy is used.
Undercuts and fine finishing details are not addressed.
C-clamp milling is not performed.
Embrasures may not have the detail or access provided with a final restoration.
The restoration is delivered sintered, without final glazing or pink gingival finishing.

The purpose of this product is to verify fit, occlusion, and phonetics—not to represent the final surface quality, embrasure definition, or finishing of the definitive restoration.

Material and Shade Options

Zirconia Try-Ins are manufactured from Alien HT Zirconia. Standard shades may be selected as desired, and white is also available for try-in purposes. Bleach shades are not available for this product.

What If Adjustments Are Needed?

Make the necessary adjustments directly to the Zirconia Try-In and rescan the adjusted restoration. If the design must be changed, a new Zirconia Try-In order is required to verify the revised fit before proceeding to the definitive restoration.

Ordering the Final Restoration

Once the Zirconia Try-In is satisfactory, order the definitive restoration in your preferred zirconia material, shade, and finishing options.

The new Alien Rx V2 includes a dedicated From Try-In section displaying all cases previously ordered with a Zirconia Try-In. Select the appropriate case to begin the final order.

If Alien Milling designed the original Zirconia Try-In, you will not be charged another design fee when ordering the final restoration from that approved case.
